'(2) No person shall be accommodated by the Secretary of State under subsection (1) for a period exceeding 10 days.'.

To move the following Amendment to the Bill in lieu of the new Clause proposed by the Lords:

(a)*Page 55, line 21, at end insert the following Clause
'Information on administrative arrangements
.(1) The Secretary of State shall, as soon as is reasonably practicable, ensure that adequate administrative arrangements ("the arrangements") are in place to implement the measures contained in Part VI of this Act ("the Part").
(2) The Secretary of State shall, once the Part takes effect, certify to each House of Parliament that the arrangements are in place and publish information to demonstrate their adequacy.
(3) This information shall include
(4) Until a resolution of each House of Parliament has directed otherwise, the certification and the publication of information referred to in subsection (2) shall take place at intervals of not more than 60 days.'.
