Short Title of the Bill
Make provision about the National Lottery.

Extract from Explanatory Note produced by Government Department   
The National Lottery Licensing and Regulation and National Lottery Funding Decision Documents, both published on 3rd July 2003, set out the Government's proposals for reform of the licensing and regulation of the National Lottery and the way Lottery money is distributed to good causes. These were influenced by the response to the consultation papers "Review of Lottery Licensing and Regulation" and "Review of Lottery Funding: A consultation paper on Lottery distribution policy", published in June and July 2002 respectively. Most of the Government's decisions do not require legislation. This Bill deals with those that do. (Source: Explanatory Note Bill 67- EN)
