1.  Negative Instruments—The following instruments were laid before the House and ordered to lie on the Table:

    1.  Motor Vehicle Tyres (Safety) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2003, laid under the Consumer Protection Act 1987;    (2762)

    2.  Organic Products (Imports from Third Countries) Regulations 2003, laid under the European Communities Act 1972;    (2821)

    3.  Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) (No. 3) Order 2003, laid under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000;    (2822)

    4.  Draft Charities (Alexandra Park and Palace) Order 2003, laid under the Charities Act 1993.    (—)

Private Business

2.  Mersey Tunnels Bill—The Examiner’s certificate that no further standing order is applicable was ordered to lie on the Table.

Public Business

3.  Health and Social Care (Community Health and Standards) Bill—The report was received; an amendment was agreed to (see division list 1); an amendment was agreed to; further consideration on report was adjourned.

The House was adjourned during pleasure.

The House was resumed.

4.  Health and Social Care (Community Health and Standards) Bill—The bill was further considered on report; amendments were agreed to; amendments were moved and (by leave of the House) withdrawn; an amendment was agreed to (see division list 2); further consideration on report was adjourned after amendment 231.

The House was adjourned at twenty-four minutes before eight o’clock

till tomorrow, eleven o’clock.
