Public Business

6.  Microchips (S&T Report)—It was moved by the Lord Wade of Chorlton that this House takes note of the Report of the Science and Technology Committee on Chips for Everything: Britain’s opportunities in a key global market (2nd Report, HL Paper 13); after debate, the motion was agreed to.

7.  Environmental regulation and agriculture (EUC Report)—It was moved by the Earl of Selborne that this House takes note of the Report of the European Union Committee on Environmental Regulation and Agriculture (36th Report, HL Paper 186, Session 2001-02); after debate, the motion was agreed to.

8.  Equality Bill [HL]—The House resolved itself into a Committee upon the bill; amendments were moved and (by leave of the Committee) withdrawn; amendments were agreed to; the House was resumed and the bill was reported with amendments; it was ordered that the bill be printed as amended. (HL Bill 46)

The House was adjourned at seventeen minutes past four o’clock
