Repeals.     154. Schedule 13 (repeals) has effect.
Commencement etc.     155. - (1) The preceding provisions (and the Schedules) come into force in accordance with provision made by order made by the appropriate authority.
      (2) The appropriate authority may by order make any transitional provisions or savings in connection with the coming into force of any provision in accordance with an order under subsection (1).
      (3) The power to make orders under subsections (1) and (2) is exercisable by statutory instrument.
      (4) In this section "the appropriate authority" means-
    (a) in relation to any provision of Part I, the Lord Chancellor, and
    (b) in relation to any provision of Part II or section 154 and Schedule 13, the Secretary of State (as respects England) and the National Assembly for Wales (as respects Wales).
Extent.     156. This Act extends to England and Wales only.
Short title.     157. This Act may be cited as the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2001.
