     Insert the following new Clause-- 
     ("  .--(1)  In section 2(1) of the Development of Tourism Act 1969 (general functions of British Tourist Authority), in paragraph (a), the words "and people living in Great Britain to take their holidays there" shall be omitted.
 
    (2)  In addition, it shall be the function of the English Tourist Council, the Scottish Tourist Board and the Wales Tourist Board to encourage people living in Great Britain to take their holidays there by marketing England, Scotland and Wales respectively as destinations; and the government shall provide funding for that purpose.")
