 ("Bodies established under s. 46 of the Local Government Act 1985 
     13.--(1) The Secretary of State may, with the agreement of a relevant body, by order--
    (a)  vary any upper or lower limit on the number of members appointed to that body;
    (b)  vary any provision made, or make further provision, with respect to the appointment of members to that body;
    (c)  vary any provision made with respect to the appointment of the chairman to provide for the members of that body to appoint one of their number as chairman of the body.
    (2)  An order under sub-paragraph (1) may confer on the relevant body the function of appointing one or more members.
 
     (3)  In this paragraph, "relevant body" means any body which is established by an Order in Council under section 46 of the Local Government Act 1985.")1985 c. 51.
