After Clause 23
 
  
BY THE BARONESS ANELAY OF ST JOHNS
THE LORD LUKE
 
     Insert the following new Clause-- 
 ("Profits accruing from trading functions 
     .--(1)  Profits raised from any of the activities provided for in sections 22 and 23 of this Act shall be for the sole use and enhancement of English Heritage, and shall be considered as supplemental to any grant given by the Secretary of State.
 
    (2)  If, as a consequence of profits raised under sections 22 and 23, the Secretary of State proposes to reduce substantially any grant given to English Heritage, he shall consult English Heritage and shall lay a report before either House of Parliament.")
