13.Turkey: EU membership—The Lord Bishop of Rochester asked Her Majesty’s Government, in the light of Turkey’s application for membership of the European Union, what they and the European Union are doing to assist Turkey in its efforts to improve its internal human rights record; after debate, the question was answered by the Baroness Scotland of Asthal.
