     (". A list of those persons making a declaration of local connection shall be supplied to the police, who will undertake checks to ensure that for the purposes of this Act there are no reasonable grounds for believing that any such person is unlawfully occupying a property by virtue of which he is making a declaration of local connection.")Checks on declarations of local interest.
