Committee for the programme to support artistic and cultural activities having a European dimension (Kaleidoscope) Decision 96/719IIa The Kaleidoscope management committee assist the Commission in implementing the Kaleidoscope programme. The Committee gives opinions on Commission proposals concerning the priorities and general guidelines of the Kaleidoscope programme, the call for proposals each year, the general balance between the actions in the programme, the selection rules and criteria for the various types of projects, the financial support to be provided (including amounts, duration, distribution and beneficiaries) and the detailed procedures for monitoring and evaluating the programme. The committee meets about three times a year.
Committee for the Community action programme in the field of cultural heritage (Raphael) Decision 97/2228I/IIa The Raphael management committee assists the Commission in implementing the Raphael programme. The Committee gives opinions on Commission proposals concerning the priorities and general guidelines of the Raphael programme, the call for proposals each year, the general balance between the actions in the programme, the selection rules and criteria for the various types of projects, the financial support to be provided (including amounts, duration, distribution and beneficiaries) and the detailed procedures for monitoring and evaluating the programme. The committee meets about three times a year.
Committee for the programme of support, including translation, in the field of books and reading (Ariane) Decision 2085/97IMet once in 1997. Gives opinions on the Commission's proposals for the work programme, the projects to be supported and the programme evaluation.
Contact Committee on the Television without Frontiers Directive Directive 97/36/ECI/IIa Assists the Commission in implementing the 1997 Broadcasting Directive. The Committee meets as and when necessary, but seems to be settling down to a two-monthly pattern.
