7. Criminal Justice (Terrorism and Conspiracy) Bill--A bill to make provision about procedure and forfeiture in relation to offences concerning proscribed organisations, and about conspiracy to commit offences outside the United Kingdom, having been brought from the Commons earlier this day and printed pursuant to Standing Order 48, was read a first time. (HL Bill 153)

8. Business of the House--It was moved by the Baroness Jay of Paddington that Standing Order 44 (No two stages of a Bill to be taken on one day) be dispensed with to enable the Criminal Justice (Terrorism and Conspiracy) Bill to be taken through all its stages today; after debate, the motion was agreed to.

9. Criminal Justice (Terrorism and Conspiracy) Bill--Standing Order 44 having been dispensed with, it was moved by the Lord Williams of Mostyn that the bill be now read a second time; after debate, the motion was agreed to and the bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole House.

The House was adjourned during pleasure.

10. Criminal Justice (Terrorism and Conspiracy) Bill--The House resolved itself into a Committee upon the bill; amendments were moved and (by leave of the Committee) withdrawn; an amendment was negatived; the House was resumed and the bill was reported without amendment; the report was received; then the bill was read a third time and passed.
