Fee for the Certification of a copy as a true copy of a Central Office Document

  1. The fee is for copies of documents held on the public file by the Central Office, for example a copy of an industrial and provident society's rules A review has recently been carried out and as a result each page is now stamped, certified and numbered, rather than just the first and last. This will allow customers to place even greater reliance on the document as a true copy.

  2. A flat rate fee is charged for this service which covers any number of pages of a single document. This fee has not been increased since 1995 and an increase to £12 was necessary in order to reflect more accurately the average time and therefore the costs now involved.
