TWENTY-EIGHTH REPORT

  1. The Committee has considered the instruments set out in the Annex to this Report and has determined that the special attention of both Houses does not require to be drawn to any of them.

  2. A memorandum by the Department of Health in connection with the Chichester Priority Care Services National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1998 (S.I. 1998/321) is printed in Appendix I to this Report.

  3. A memorandum by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in connection with the Specified Animal Pathogens Order 1998 (S.I. 1998/463) is printed in Appendix II to this Report.

  4. A memorandum by the Privy Council Office in connection with the Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Practitioners (Registration) (Amendment) Regulations Order of Council 1998 (S.I. 1998/270) and the Veterinary Surgeons (Examination of Commonwealth and Foreign Candidates) (Amendment) Regulations Order of Council 1998 (S.I. 1998/271) is printed in Appendix III to this Report.

  5. Two memoranda by the Department of Social Security in connection with the Naval, Military and Air Forces Etc. (Disablement and Death) Service Pensions Amendment Order 1998 (S.I. 1998/262) are printed in Appendix IV to this Report.
