Select Committee on Modernisation of the House of Commons Written Evidence

  I wish to make one very simple point to the Committee. It would be wholly unrealistic to expect to man and to staff adequately select committees, and so whatever form of regional accountability is decided upon I would urge the Modernisation Committee not to go down the select committee route.
