Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Bill

[back to previous text]

The Chairman: With this it will be convenient to discuss the following amendments:

Government amendments Nos. 31, 32, 42, 44, 47 and 50 to 52.

Mr. McNulty: These are very important matters, which we will not be able to discuss in the 20 seconds left before we adjourn. The powers in the clause in respect of the duty to share information far more readily reflect what we want to do than otherwise. The amendments use the word “Treasury” quite a lot, which is always a good thing for a Minister who is not a Treasury Minister.

It being One o’clock, The Chairman adjourned the Committee without Question put, pursuant to the Standing Order.

Adjourned till this day at Four o’clock.
