Oral Questions - Whether the policy is to encourage an increase in the number of special constables (L. Campbell of Croy); In light of the information published by the Institute of Cancer Research on 27th May what action will be taken in respect of prostate cancer (L. Ezra); Whether the Criminal Records Bureau is meeting its targets for processing applications (L. Corbett of Castle Vale); What assurances can be given to the Kurdish people living in the Iraqi Kurdistan region of Northern Iraq that their security will be protected in the event of the outbreak of military offensives in the region (B. Cox).

Faulkner of Worcester); What difficulties have arisen owing to the distinction between nursing care and personal care for the purpose of funding arrangements (B. Barker); Whether the need for the introduction of an identity card incorporating biometric details to assist in the prevention of acts of terrorism and the fight against other crime is recognised (L.
