Select Committee on Work and Pensions Appendices to the Minutes of Evidence

Supplementary memorandum submitted by Action for Employment (A4E) (OP 18A)

Two fully mobile Personal Advisors devote 100 per cent of their time to a fluid but small caseload of Non-JSA clients. The service provides intensive customised help and advice for Non-JSA clients who want to work but need one to one support in order to achieve their goal. The client will have the commitment of the two advisors who will work closely together but will in turn expect commitment back from the client. Indeed clients will have to agree to the Job Squad Commitment to receive the full benefits of the service.
