The Committee deliberated.

Resolved, That the Chairman and Clerk do visit Brussels from 21-22 January to attend the European Parliament and national parliaments of the EU member states joint hearing on national action plans for employment and against social exclusion in a representative capacity.-(The Chairman.)

Ordered, That the Chairman do seek the approval of the Liaison Committee for expenditure in connection with the said visit.—(The Chairman.)

The Committee further deliberated.

Ordered, That Age Concern England, Help the Aged and SAGE Research Group have leave to publish the Memoranda submitted by them in accordance with the provisions of Standing Order No. 135(1).—(The Chairman.)

'ONE' Pilots: Professor Alan Marsh, Deputy Director of the Policy Studies Institute, Ms Vicky Davis, Senior Research Manager, and Clare Johnson, Associate Director, ECOTEC Social Policy Group; Dr John Kelleher, Mr Elliot Stern and Ms Penny Youll, Evaluation Development and Review Unit (EDRU), Tavistock Institute, were examined.
