Mr Archy Kirkwood was called to the Chair.

  

The Committee deliberated.

Ordered, That strangers be admitted during the examination of witnesses unless the Committee otherwise orders.-(The Chairman.)

Resolved, That the Committee do inquire into the 'ONE' Pilots.—(The Chairman.)

Resolved, That the Committee do visit York.—(The Chairman.)

Resolved, That the Committee do visit Brussels.—(The Chairman.)

Ordered, That Mr Andrew Selous and a member of Committee staff do visit Bergen in September to attend the Conference of the European Institute of Social Security in a representative capacity.—(The Chairman.)

Ordered, That the Chairman do seek the approval of the Liaison Committee for expenditure in connection with the said visit.

Social Security Appeals: A Paper was ordered to be reported to the House.
