Ms Mavis McDonald, CB, Permanent Secretary, Office of Deputy Prime Minister and Cabinet Office; Ms Louise Casey, Director, Rough Sleepers Unit; Ms Naomi Eisenstadt, Director, Sure Start; Ms Vanessa Hogbin, Quality Management Team, Small Business Service, and Mr Stephen Mitchell, General Expenditure Policy, HM Treasury, were examined (HC 471-i).

Mr Michael Whitehouse, Director, National Audit Office, was examined (HC 471-i).

Resolved, That the Report be the Twenty-eighth Report of the Committee to the House.

Ordered, That the Chairman do make the Report to the House.

Ordered, That the provisions of Standing Order No. 134 (Select Committees (Reports)) be applied to the Report.
