The Committee deliberated.

Draft Report, proposed by the Chairman, brought up and read.

Ordered, That the draft Report be read a second time, paragraph by paragraph.

Paragraphs 1.1 to 19.7 read and agreed to.

Paragraph 19.8 read, amended, and agreed to.

Paragraphs 20.1 to 25 read and agreed to.

Resolved, That the Report be the Thirty-seventh Report of the Committee to the House.

Ordered, That the Chairman do make the Report to the House.

Ordered, That the Chairman and the Clerk do visit Copenhagen on 16 September to attend a meeting for the Chairmen of Committees belonging to COSAC in a representative capacity.- (The Chairman).

Ordered, That the Chairman, two Members and the Clerk attend the XXVIIth COSAC in Copenhagen from 16 to 18 October 2002 in a representative capacity. — (The Chairman).

Ordered, That the Chairman and the Clerk do visit Tallinn on 30 October to 1 November to attend the 9th International Conference, "the renewing of Europe — efficiency and democracy", in a representative capacity.- (The Chairman).
