The Committee deliberated.

Draft Report, proposed by the Chairman, brought up and read.

Ordered, That the draft Report be read a second time, paragraph by paragraph.

Mr William Cash declared a non-pecuniary interest in relation to paragraph 2 (Mutual recognition of decisions on parental responsibility) and paragraph 10 (Mutual recognition of decisions on parental responsibility) namely a case before the High Court involving a family member.

Paragraphs 1.1 to 15 read and agreed to.

Resolved, That the Report be the Twenty-First Report of the Committee to the House.

Ordered, That the Chairman do make the Report to the House.

Ordered, That Mr Jim Dobbin do visit Brussels on 19 and 20 March to attend the meeting of the European Parliament's Committee on Legal Affairs and the Internal Market in a representative capacity. — (The Chairman).
