Illegal Meat Imports: Mr Graham Jukes, Chief Executive, Mr Brenden Brockway, Port Health Manager, Southampton Port Authority, Mrs Jenny Morris, Policy Officer, and Mr Shaheen Zar, Team Leader, Food Safety Unit, London Borough of Newham, Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, were examined.

Mr Ben Gill, President, Mr Michael Seals, Chairman, Food Standards Committee and Ms Elizabeth Hogben, Food Science Adviser, National Farmers' Union of England and Wales, were examined.

Illegal Meat Imports: Mr Doug Bloomfield, Honorary Secretary, Mr Mike Young, Secretary, Airport Liaison Committee, and Mr Jon Averns, member of the Imported Food Committee and Airport Liaison Committee, Association of Port Health Authorities, were examined.

Lord Whitty, a Member of the House of Lords, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State (Lords), Dr Marian Wooldridge, Head of Veterinary Laboratory Agency Risk Assessment, and Ms Jill Wordley, Head of Illegal Imports Team, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, were examined.
