Draft Special Report, proposed by the Chairman, brought up, read the first and second time and agreed to.

Resolved, That the Report be the Third Special Report of the Committee to the House.

Ordered, That the Chairman do make the Report to the House.

Ordered, That the Government's Response to the Third Report, Session 2001-02, on Individual Learning Accounts be appended to the Report. — (The Chairman.)

Ordered, That the uncorrected transcript of the oral evidence this day given by the Chairman and Chief Executive of the General Teaching Council be published on the Internet.— (The Chairman.)

Ordered, That the uncorrected transcript of the oral evidence given this day by the Minister of State for School Standards be published on the Internet.— (The Chairman.)

General Teaching Council: Lord Puttnam of Queensgate, a Member of the House of Lords, Chairman, and Carol Adams, Chief Executive, General Teaching Council, were examined.

Department for Education and Skills: the next four years: Mr David Miliband, a Member of the House, Minister of State for School Standards, was examined.
