Letter to the Parliamentary Commissioner
for Standards from Mr Jaffer A Kapasi OBE DL MKD
Thank you for your telephone call of 23 March
2000 following my letter to you of the 21 March 2000 and your
advice. I stand by every word of my letter of the 21 March 2000.
It is factually accurate and completely correct.
I would be pleased if you could let me know
who has made these false allegations against me. If you have any
information on this I would be pleased if you would pass it to
me so that I may consider it with my legal advisers. I am already
considering the legal implications of the untrue allegations contained
in the Sunday Telegraph article of 19 February.
