Select Committee on Environment, Transport and Regional Affairs Fifth Report

I hope you can accept my profuse apologies at not being able to attend the House of Commons Select Committee. You will be aware I was eager to make a contribution and am very disappointed at the turn of events.

Due to the fact that my partner is due to give birth any day now, I decided to travel down on the 7 am flight (normally I would have stayed over the evening before), I should have arrived in good time for the 10.30 am scheduled slot, but delays with my flight prevented that.

However, I know John gave a good account for this company and note he promised to send a financial model for the development capital costs identifying a £2 billion spending programme for meeting the 2010 Recovery, Recycling Targets.
