NOTE

  Due to the restriction on taking on gilts, the whole parity of the breeding herd has been disrupted and this will adversely affect future production. There are other costs such as increased mortality due to forced overstocking, and a considerable amount of extra work and expense are going to be required to return the unit to its previous condition.
