The Committee deliberated.

Mr Jamie Mortimer, Treasury Officer of Accounts, was further examined.

The Comptroller and Auditor General's report on the Child Support Agency: Annual Report and Accounts 1996-97 (Client Fund Account) (HC 124) was considered.

Mrs Faith Boardman, Chief Executive, Mr M Davison, Finance Director, and Mr M Isaac, the Child Support Agency, were examined (HC 313-i).

Resolved, That the Report, as amended, be the Twenty-First Report of the Committee to the House.
