SUPPLEMENT TO THE VOTES AND PROCEEDINGS

PETITION FROM MS MARION MILLER AND OTHERS

27th April 2006

To the Honourable the Commons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Parliament assembled.

The Humble Petition of Ms Marion Miller and others,

Sheweth

That the Petitioners are paying extra on council house rent to Swindon Borough Council for street wardens, to which they have already contributed through their Council Tax. This is unfair.

Wherefore your Petitioners pray that your Honourable House shall urge the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister to consider the plight of Ms Miller and others in a similar situation and take action.

And your Petitioners, as in duty bound, will ever pray, &c.

SUPPLEMENT TO THE VOTES AND PROCEEDINGS

PETITION FROM RESIDENTS OF HUMBERSTONE, LEICESTER

2nd May 2006

To the House of Commons.

The Petition of residents of Humberstone, Leicester,

Declares that the layout of the junction of Scraptoft Lane and Hungarton Boulevard in Leicester is dangerous and responsible for a recent fatal accident.

The Petitioners therefore request that the House of Commons urge the Government to take action to encourage Leicester City Council to create a protected right-hand turn at the junction, reduce the speed of traffic through the junction, and improve the flow of traffic down Hungarton Boulevard.

And the Petitioners remain, etc.
