1Private Bills [Lords] (No Standing Order not previously enquired into applicable),—The Speaker laid upon the Table a Report from one of the Examiners of Petitions for Private Bills, That, in the case of the following Bill, originating in the Lords and referred after the First Reading thereof, no Standing Order not previously enquired into is applicable thereto, viz.:
 
        United Reformed Church Bill [Lords].
 
        Bill to be read a second time.
2Adjournment (Future of Broadcasting),—A Motion was made, and the Question being proposed, That this House do now adjourn—(Mr Greg Pope);
 
        The Motion was, with leave of the House, withdrawn.
3Business of the House,—Ordered, That, at the sitting on Monday 1st November, the Speaker shall not adjourn the House until any Message from the Lords, relating to the Greater London Authority Bill, has been received.—(Jim Dowd.)
4Adjournment,—A Motion was made, and the Question being proposed, That this House do now adjourn—(Jim Dowd);
 
        And it being half-past Two o'clock, the Motion for the adjournment of the House lapsed, without Question put.

        And accordingly the House, having continued to sit till twenty-nine minutes to Three o'clock, adjourned till Monday 1st November.
