2Third Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation,—Mr George Stevenson reported from the Third Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation the draft International Headquarters and Defence Organisations (Designation and Privileges) (Amendment) Order 1999, and the draft Visiting Forces and International Headquarters (Application of Law) Order 1999.

3Fifth Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation,—Mr Jimmy Hood reported from the Fifth Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation the draft Social Security and Child Support (Decisions and Appeals) (Amendment) Regulations 1999.

4Rural Transport,—Ordered, That leave be given to bring in a Bill to make provision for rural transport partnership schemes, administered and operated by voluntary groups, parish and town councils, to supplement bus services in rural areas: And that Mr David Prior, Mr John Bercow, Mr Christopher Fraser, Mr John Hayes, Miss Julie Kirkbride, Mr Andrew Lansley, Mr Archie Norman, Mr Owen Paterson, Mr Keith Simpson, Mr Richard Spring, Mr Andrew Tyrie and Mr Desmond Swayne do prepare and bring it in.
5Rural Transport Bill,—Mr David Prior accordingly presented a Bill to make provision for rural transport partnership schemes, administered and operated by voluntary groups, parish and town councils, to supplement bus services in rural areas: And the same was read the first time; and ordered to be read a second time on Friday 23rd July and to be printed [Bill 103].
6Adjournment (Kosovo) (No. 3),—A Motion was made, and the Question being proposed, That this House do now adjourn—(Jane Kennedy);
 
        And it being Ten o'clock, the Motion for the adjournment of the House lapsed, without Question put.
