PRAYERS.
1Contingencies Fund 1996-97,--Ordered, That there be laid before this House Accounts of the Contingencies Fund, 1996-97, showing:
 
        (1) The receipts and payments in connection with the Fund in the year ended the 31st day of March 1997;
 
        (2) The distribution of the capital of the Fund at the commencement and close of the year, with the Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General thereon.--(Mr Clive Betts.)
2Lloyds TSB Bill [Lords],--The First Deputy Chairman of Ways and Means reported from the Committee on Unopposed Bills, That it had examined the allegations contained in the Preamble to the Lloyds TSB Bill [Lords] and found the same to be true; and had gone through the Bill and had directed him to report the same without Amendment.
 
        Bill to be read the third time.
3Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Bill [Lords],--Mr Frank Cook reported from Standing Committee F, That it had gone through the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Bill [Lords], and made Amendments thereunto.
 
        Bill, as amended in the Standing Committee, to be considered to-morrow; and to be printed [Bill 190].
 
        Minutes of Proceedings of the Committee to be printed [No. 743].
4Third Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation,--Mr Peter Atkinson reported from the Third Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation the draft New Northern Ireland Assembly (Elections) Order 1998.
 
        Minutes of Proceedings of the Committee to lie upon the Table.
5Tax Credits (Initial Expenditure) Bill (Committee),--The House, according to Order, resolved itself into a Committee on the Tax Credits (Initial Expenditure) Bill.

        Amendment (No. 4) proposed, in page 1, line 6, after the word 'expenditure', to insert the words 'up to a limit of £20 million'.--(Mr Michael Fallon.)
