2Adjournment (Hillsborough),--A Motion was made, and the Question being proposed, That this House do now adjourn--(Jane Kennedy);
 
        The Motion was, with the leave of the House, withdrawn.
3Agenda 2000: Reform of the Common Agricultural Policy,--Ordered, That European Community Document No. 7073/98, relating to Agenda 2000: Reform of the Common Agricultural Policy, shall not stand referred to European Standing Committee A.--(Mr Jim Dowd.)
4Delegated Legislation,--Ordered, That the Motor Vehicles (Approval) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 (S.I., 1998, No. 1008) be referred to a Standing Committee on Delegated Legislation.--(Mr Jim Dowd.)
5Adjournment (Whitsun),--A Motion was made, and the Question being put forthwith, pursuant to Standing Order No. 25 (Periodic adjournments), That this House, at its rising on Thursday 21st May, do adjourn till Monday 1st June--(Mr Jim Dowd):--It was agreed to.
6Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Bill [Lords],--Ordered, That, during the proceedings on the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Bill [Lords], the Standing Committee on the Bill shall have leave to sit twice on the first day on which it shall meet.--(Mr Jim Dowd.)
7Adjournment,--A Motion was made, and the Question being proposed, That this House do now adjourn--(Mr Jim Dowd);
 
        And it being half-past Two o'clock, the Motion for the adjournment of the House lapsed, without Question put.
