PRAYERS.

1    London Local Authorities and Transport for London Bill,—Ordered, That the London Local Authorities and Transport for London Bill be read a second time on Tuesday 14th June.

2    Private Bills [Lords] (Revival),—The Order of the day being read, for resuming the adjourned Debate on the Question proposed on 24th May, That so much of the Lords Message [19th May] as relates to the Liverpool City Council (Prohibition of Smoking in Places of Work) Bill [Lords] be now considered;

    That this House concurs with the Lords in their Resolution;

    Ordered, That the Debate be resumed on Wednesday 15th June.

5    Finance Bill,—The Finance Bill was, according to Order, read a second time.

    Ordered, That—

    (1) Clauses Nos. 11, 18, 40, 43, 44 and 69 and Schedule No. 8 shall be committed to a Committee of the whole House;

    (2) the remainder of the Bill shall be committed to a Standing Committee; and

    (3) when the provisions of the Bill considered, respectively, by the Committee of the whole House and by the Standing Committee have been reported to the House, the Bill shall be proceeded with as if the Bill had been reported as a whole to the House from the Standing Committee.—(Dawn Primarolo.)

6    Finance Bill,—Ordered, That, during the proceedings on the Finance Bill, the Standing Committee on the Bill shall have leave to sit twice on the first day on which it shall meet.—(Mr Dave Watts.)

    And accordingly, the House, having continued to sit till twelve minutes to Ten o'clock, adjourned till to-morrow.
