Statutory Instruments, &c.
LIST NO. 5 : Friday 14 June 2013

SECTION C

Instruments subject to negative resolution procedure

KEY

Bold The Instrument has been referred to a Delegated Legislation Committee.

The figures in the last column denote the number of days still to run including the day (when reckonable for this purpose) of publication of this list.

(i) Statutory Instruments

Instruments and draft Instruments laid before the House under the Statutory Instruments Act 1946 (sections 5 and 6) are subject to negative resolution for a period of forty days, beginning with the day on which copies of them are laid. In reckoning this period, no account is taken of any time during which Parliament is dissolved or prorogued, or during which both Houses are adjourned for more than four days. Draft Legislative Reform Orders subject to negative resolution (underlined in this list) are subject to the same timetable except that adjournments are discounted if either House (rather than both Houses) is adjourned for more than four days.
