Purpose of visit: as part of a delegation of the Conservative Friends of India at the invitation of the High Commission in London and the Ministry of External Affairs, Delhi, meeting politicians and businessmen in Delhi and Mumbai.

2) Upgraded by the airline free of charge from economy to club class on return journey; estimated retail value £3,209.

Purpose of visit: as part of the AFPS to allow MPs to experience service life and to improve their understanding of the training and the associated resource implications required to train the army and prepare it for operations.
